The PPU (Portable Patient Unit) is the core of the two-way communication system.

After initial ECG signal processing, data are transmitted to a monitoring centre,
all data are visualised, processed and recorded in a data base. Feedback from
doctor to patient is possible at all times, in case of alarm the doctor takes
immediate action.
