"Wearable Wellness System"

"Wearable Wellness System" is a wearable fully integrated system, able to acquire the following set of physiological parameters:

• 1 electrocardiogram (parallel to DI)

• respiration

• posture

• movement

ECG and respiration are monitored using sensors that are fully integrated into the fabric structure, as they are made of yarn, while posture and movement are controlled by a 3-D accelerometer placed on the mother board of the electronic device (SEW3, by CSEM).

The SEW3 integrates algorithms that pre-process raw data providing the following parameters:

• a full electrocardiogram

• the heart rate

• respiration

• respiration rate

• analysis of movement level

• energy expenditure

Data are stored internally and/or transmitted via BlueTooth(R) directly to a PC
