This summer we improved and tested the new vest made to support the ASICS harness, with positive results.
WELMO vest
The design of the vest is based on a multilayered structure. Each layer is conceived for a specific functionality, the inner region for the signals acquisition is in contact with the body skin, the outer region for the communication and the fitting of the sensors on the body.
Pressure of the sensors on the skin is enhanced by several patches distributed on the outer side combined with shaped fillers fully integrated in the medium layer (inside of the vest).
The harness that is the core of the electrical functionality is hold by the vest to fit the sensors on the right chest position.
